Tape a penny to the inside of your strap. Kind of under where your spotting tape should be. It makes the catch sound louder and more snappier.
My old instructor told us he did this once but then he said his rifle got unbalanced so be careful!

Yesterday was the last show to the last musical i will ever do in HS. That Cast and Crew was amazing. That was one hell of a show! I think i did a pretty good job in sound.
